The Small Things That Make Your Space Healthier at LCI Headquarter

At Life Cycle Indonesia (LCI) headquarter, sustainability is not just about energy efficiency or low-carbon design — it is also about creating spaces that protect the people inside them. When we built the LCI Headquarters, we paid close attention to the unseen details that contributed to indoor air quality, comfort, and long-term health.

Sustainability Starts with Safe Materials

Indoor air quality is influenced by countless small components that often go unnoticed: paint, coatings, sealants, adhesives, and furnishings. Many of these materials can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other chemicals that affect comfort, respiratory health, and overall indoor air performance.

Because of this, we deliberately chose safe, low-VOC, toxin-free materials, including the adhesives used in furniture and interior finishes. While something as simple as adhesive is often overlooked in interior design, it is used extensively and can significantly influence indoor air quality over time and the overall environmental profile of a space.

By selecting materials with lower chemical emissions and better safety performance, we help create a healthier working environment. Because ultimately, a healthier space is created not only by big innovations, but also by the small decisions we make with care.
